Web7 feb. 2024 · You do not need soffit vents with spray foam insulation. Soffit vents are intake vents of an attic. They work in tandem with ridge vents which are exhaust vents. Since an attic that has spray foam insulation in it cannot be vented, it doesn’t need any intake vents. If you already have soffit vents in place, I recommend blocking them.
